Best Accent Reduction Training Program

How to Choose an Accent Reduction Specialist

If your Accent Reduction specialist is anything like the one in the video, you’re not getting what you deserve. Here are some things to consider when choosing an Accent Reduction trainer.

Trust

Ask yourself if you feel a high level of trust with the person you choose, based on their credentials and competence, for example, whether they are a licensed, certified speech and language pathologist.

Experience

Take a look at how long they have been doing Accent Reduction and the number of different first languages they have worked with. You want to make sure they have experience working with accents like yours.

Attitude and Acceptance

Look for someone with a high degree of patience and a non-judgmental, caring, and accepting attitude. You want to work with someone who won’t cause you embarrassment if you make mistakes and who understands the challenges associated with learning to speak in a new way.

Every client should be treated as a unique individual, with an Accent Reduction program created to suit their specific needs. That’s what I based my program around. When you work with me, I will create a customized program designed to address voice projection, grammar, intonation issues, and Standard American English pronunciation. Clients who attend all sessions and practice diligently can expect to achieve clear, understandable speech and at least a 50% improvement in reducing their accent by the end of the training.
